A certificate program from a college or vocational institution usually requires 1 year of full-time study. Minimum high school grade point average of 70 is required for college applications, and 80 for universities.

Academic Prerequisite is to submit a high school or university diploma and an official transcript from the school.

English Proficiency must be proven with the TOEFL or IELTS exam.

Each school requests a CV, letter of intent, reference and a detailed portfolio for some programs. You need to get the reference letter from two of your teachers / professors from the high school/university you have graduated.

Whether it is high school, university or college, education in Canada is not free for international students. University tuition fees are slightly higher than college fees.
